DuckGuard — Soft Silicone Dog Muzzle

DuckGuard is intended for short-term, supervised use only.

Dogs regulate their body temperature largely by panting. Because this style of muzzle may limit how widely some dogs can open their mouth, it should not be used for prolonged periods, strenuous exercise, running, warm weather or situations in which your dog needs unrestricted panting or drinking.

Never leave a muzzled dog unattended.

Always make sure:

• your dog can breathe comfortably;
• the muzzle is not pressing against the nostrils;
• the fit is secure without being overly tight;
• your dog is calm and closely supervised.

Remove the muzzle immediately if your dog shows excessive panting, breathing difficulty, overheating, distress or discomfort.

For longer periods of wear or situations where your dog needs to pant freely, drink or exercise, a properly fitted basket-style muzzle with sufficient panting room may be more appropriate.
